The farmhouse is a large and luxurious detached property situated on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire village of Tosside. Brockthorn Farmhouse benefits from its tranquil location and countryside views, with the garden backing onto the enchanting Gisburn Forest which offers some of the best mountain bike trails in the country.
There are five individually decorated bedrooms across two floors, comprising of three super king size doubles and two twin rooms. There is also the option to host two further guests in the snug on a double sofa bed. Two of the super king rooms and a twin have their own ensuite bathrooms, there is also a family bathroom and an additional downstairs cloakroom.
The rest of the holiday cottage boasts a large open plan kitchen with breakfast table, a separate dining room, sitting room, snug, laundry and sunroom. There are also two woodburning stoves within the property, one in the sitting room and the second in the dining room/hall, perfect for cosy gatherings.
To the front of the property is a lovely raised patio area with outdoor furniture, perfect for having a break and admiring the beautiful countryside views, this spot is also the perfect suntrap. A large lawned garden follows on from the raised patio. To the back of the farmhouse is a patio area with a BBQ and outdoor furniture to seat 10; the ideal spot for alfresco dining during the summer months. The 5-acre paddock is also accessible to guests during their stay.
Tosside is a village in the Yorkshire Dales, six miles from Settle, and fifteen miles from Skipton, popularly known as The Gateway to the Dales. The village is split between two counties, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
